- Androgenetic Alopecia
It is a type of hair loss condition which is common to both men and women. As opposed to sudden falling out of hair, people who have this disorder often experience gradual hair loss. It follows a specific pattern starting from the above temples. Unlike with Telogen Effluvium, this condition completely causes baldness with no chances of growing hair back ever again.
- Alopecia Areata
Alopecia areata is a type of autoimmune disease which attacks the hair follicles. This is typically characterized by losing large clumps of hair at once. It often starts with one or more bald patches which can progress to complete hair loss. In this condition, it’s possible that the hair falls out on the scalp or in another part of the body. Depending on the state, it could cause different types of hair loss.
It Might Be Due to Pregnancy
For many women, going through pregnancy can be extremely stressful. Part of the hair loss cycle is when an increased number of hairs go into the resting phase. Due to the hormonal shift and shock most expecting moms experience, their condition may often affect the normal growth of their hair causing extreme fall out and/or shedding. Luckily, this can be avoided with proper diet and good stress management.
It Might Be Because of Too Much Exercise
While having enough exercise can be beneficial to your mind and body, too much of it can be harmful to your hair and scalp. If you push your body to its limit, chances are, it might affect your body’s normal function. Pushing your body too hard to exercise without having enough rest can disrupt hair growth. This is why you need to keep your activity under control. Exercise is a great thing, as long as you could strike the right balance with it.
